Very nice overall experience. Lovely accommodation with excellent setting close enough to the Lacanja river, and pristine rainforest. Plenty of goodies for breakfast. What a very attentive staff!

The location here was amazing - we could easily walk to all the places we wanted to visit. the economy quadruple room had all the facilities we could ask for. 🌟.

The hotel was a nice place for enjoying a great area, near to a river Bank in the jungle and pristine rainforest. I thoroughly enjoyed the room; it was spacious and huge with shared bathroom and starting point for the rafting tour, for example. Nice and great staff, couldn't ask for more. The location was marvellous, close to all interests.

We had an incredible experience at Campamento Rio. The location nestled deep in the jungle was absolutely stunning. Our cabin was clean and comfortable, with a lovely balcony and hammock overlooking the river. The marked trail from the camp allowed us to spot toucans and other wildlife. The staff kept the camp spotless and even helped us out when we had to cancel a night due to illness. The food at the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. I highly recommend this place for a peaceful and beautiful stay in the jungle.

One of the downsides we experienced was the lack of English-speaking staff, as there was only one person who could communicate in English but did not engage with us. This made it challenging to learn about the Lacandon community, history, and wildlife in the area.

We had so much fun exploring the jungle with the hiking trails and even enjoyed some water sports in the river. Plus, the fact that they have free parking was a huge bonus. this place exceeded all our expectations and is the perfect spot for a relaxing and adventurous getaway. Highly recommended for young travelers!
